Changing SQL Server Version without reinstallation

To change the edition without reinstalling. Just run the setup.exe file from command prompt with the SKUUPGRADE parameter:


start /wait setup.exe ADDLOCAL=SQL_Engine INSTANCENAME=MSSQLSERVERUPGRADE=SQL_Engine SKUUPGRADE=1 /qb
